Liane Alexandra Curtis

Liane Alexandra Curtis is an American film and television actress and musician. She has garnered a cult following after starring in such B grade theater and video releases as CrittersThe Main Course and Girlfriend from Hell as well as smaller roles in higher profile classics such as Sixteen Candles and her feature film debut Baby Its You directed by John Sayles.

Curtis parents, Jack Curtis and Paulette Rubinstein did many voices for the U.S. dubs of Japanese scifi films and TV series. Jack and Paulette got married December 31, 1964. Jack was a voice actor for characters that included Pops Racer and Inspector Detector for the Japanese anime series Speed Racer in 1967 as well as a director and producer of The Flesh Eaters in 1964. Paulette was an actress as well as screenwriter and song writer and has performed with Eddie Albert in The Severn Year Itch and with Julie Andrews in The Boy Friend . Paulette was also known as Paulette Girard. From about 1951 about 1956, she was married to jazz accordionist Mat Mathews .
